HIMARI’s Worldwide Debut Album Debut Out Today

HIMARI’s worldwide debut album, Debut, is released today, September 25, on Decca Classics.

At its heart is a live recording of Wieniawski’s Violin Concerto No. 1, captured in March 2025 when HIMARI, aged 13, made her solo debut in the Berliner Philharmoniker’s subscription concerts under Sebastian Weigle. The album continues with works recorded with pianist Chelsea Wang, including two Chopin Nocturnes and Sibelius’s Mazurka. Two historic instruments can be heard: the 1717 “Hamma” Stradivarius and the 1732 “Ferni” Guarneri del Gesù.
